Our mission is rooted in providing women and youth with practical skills, like sewing and artisan training, while also equipping them with the knowledge of their rights and responsibilities. These are individuals who have often faced immense obstacles, from economic hardships to safety concerns, and our programs are designed to give them a foundation for a more stable, self-sufficient life.

Thanks to past contributions, we’ve been able to launch impactful programs like the sewing class at Maison Claire Heureuse, a safe house in partnership with NÈGÈS MAWON. This 12-week program gives women a chance to learn valuable sewing skills in a supportive and safe environment—many of whom have endured immense challenges.

Manouchka is a young mother who joined our sewing program this year. Having faced economic hardships, she never imagined she could learn a trade. Now, through her hard work and dedication, she dreams of creating her own clothing line one day to support her family independently.
